This is the third book in the Working With High Frequency Words series. It is targeted at Australian children who are in Year 1. This book can also be used to challenge more able students in the Foundation years of school. Written by an experienced classroom teacher the book has been designed to help Year 1 students to read and write over 50 commonly used words with confidence. The words which are targeted in this book have been carefully selected to reflect those which students use regularly in their own writing and which are frequently seen in readers designed for this age group. Students should be able to complete the tasks independently.
