Her collection revolved initially around modern photography, including major ensembles by Brassai, Diane Arbus, Helen Levitt and Weegee, as well as classic pieces by Eugene Atget and Walker Evans. But the collection soon developed to encompass contemporary art and photography, adding works by William Eggleston, Andy Warhol, Larry Clark, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Nan Goldin, Seydou Keita, Richard Billingham, Martin Parr, Cameron Jamie, Mona Hatoum, Jim Shaw, Frederic Bruly Bouabre and Malick Sidibe.
