You'll find many familiar stories: Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel, Noah's Ark, the Tower of Babel. Others are less well-known, such as the relationship between Jacob and Laban and the attack on Dinah. Some of the best and worst of humanity is depicted within the 50 chapters of Genesis: we read of betrayal, murder, and deceit, but we also experience God's forgiveness and abiding love. The stories of Genesis point us to an eternal truth: in the beginning, today, and always, God is with us.
