This present compilation is a survey rather than an inventory since it was not intended that this work be exhaustive There are many institutional, commercial and private plant collections scattered throughout the country that probably contain clones not to be found at any of the locations contacted in this survey. To have solicited inventories from each of these would have involved work dis proportionate to the basic purpose of the survey.
