While on one hand people are busy with Chhal-Chhand, on the other hand Ashok Patsaria is engaged in the practice of the ancient genre of 'Nadan' Chhand. A successful effort is being made to preserve the Chhands of Maharishi Pingal. "Chhandamrit" is a successful effort in this regard.

The author has given priority to the communication of emotions by coming out of the language constraints. As a result of years of hard practice, writing words on the parameters of Chhand, maintaining their original form, is a laborious subject. In this way, interesting ancient and lyrical Chhands which have been forgotten by today's people. Author Patsaria has forced the new generation to look back towards the ancient traditions by using his pen. This effort of Chhand management is not only commendable but will also be successful in making its place in the hearts of the readers.
