One day, Emily woke up and realised that she didn’t remember the last time she felt truly happy. Every day she tried her best to think of happy thoughts, but all she seemed to think of were more reasons to be sad.
Follow Emily as she discovers that the best way to deal with VERY big feelings is with openness, honesty, love and support.
In 2013, when Celeste’s best friend Christina lost her 16 year old daughter Emily to suicide, Celeste decided that she wanted to her use her words for something far more meaningful. As a result of this wish and the wish to save other families from ever having to lose a child to suicide, Celeste’s debut children’s book Emily and the VERY big Feeling was born.
Celeste is also generously donating 10% of every book sold back to RUOK? in honour of the life-saving work that they do on a daily basis.
