In 2004, Granary Books published a 41-copy edition of poems from Erosion's Pull with drawings by artist Yvonne Jacquette. Jacquette will also be providing the cover art for this collection. Owen's ties to California, where she lived for many years, to Naropa University where she is teaching, and the Poetry Project in New York will help the book find a national audience. Many of her poems are set in the Midwest of her childhood, which should help us obtain review coverage in Minnesota and Chicago. Known for her humor and her feminist take on New York School poetics, Owen's poetry is both pleasurable and wise.
