This collection of papers by a group of academics focuses on the fundamental concepts of race and class, and the nature and patterns of class exploitation in capitalist societies. The papers, taken from a number of disciplinary and theoretical positions, explore the distinctions and similarities between race and class exploration, analyzing the effectiveness of concepts of justice and social policies in the abatement of inequality, and provide a methodological framework for examining race in its capitalist dimensions.
