Sheriff Jim Sheppard and Sgt. Dee Jackson find Bailey Braden nearly frozen to death, along with the body of a murdered woman. They have to save Bailey's life, preserve a crime scene, and find a murderer while Florida is shut down by temperatures in the 20s. Sgt. Jackson takes on the case, and Sheriff Sheppard protects Bailey Braden, the only lead in the murder.
