The book examines how the Ministry of Defence and the three services have tackled the sensitive issues of homosexuality, recruitment of ethnic minorities, personal and professional development of service personnel and training of service personnel to deal with equality issues and the future role of the reserve forces.
The book is practitioner-based and set within an analytical academic framework and aims to educate, inform and challenge, as well as open up debates and further research in this area.
