This book profiles 11 young Australians who have contributed a great deal to the community. Some are contributing to our scientific knowledge some are playing their part in changing the community through politics and some are directly helping people in need. While they love the work they do all have made sacrifices to follow the path of community service. Such sacrifices include having little time for themselves or earning less money than they may have been able to make by following another path.
