The content of the poem "Khosrow and Shirin" (1181) - all-consuming love: "All lies, one love decree unquestioning and all game in the world, that is the game of love ... Who will be without love, so heed reproach: he is dead, although used a hundred times he was full of life. " In fact it is - Sufi work, depicting allegorical desire of the soul to God; but the feelings are depicted so vividly that the untrained reader will not even notice allegory, seeing the poem as a work of romantic love. The plot is taken from ancient legend, which describes the many adventures.
