This programmed text intended for both class and self-study, consists of an introduction to the Laplace transform solution of ordinary differential equations. As such, it has been designed to lay down a firm foundation for the study of dynamic systems, with example problems drawn from various fields of engineering. Essential prerequisites are a course in the calculus, the ability to solve simultaneous algebraic equations by determinants, and a knowledge of complex numbers.
