Kelly roams the outskirts of the forest in search of bugs for a school science report. A particularly rare butterfly catches her eye and she wanders into the woods in hot pursuit. When Kelly loses track of the bug she realizes she has absolutely no idea where she is. Kelly is forced to contend with the dangers of the wilderness with only a mason jar a butterfly net and a small sandwich at her disposal.
