Today she is a prolific children and young adults' book author. She is very enthusiastic about working with children and is convinced that every child has a special ability. So far she has published over twenty books, some of which have been translated into several languages. Inge Bratusch-Marrain, was born and raised in Vienna, and she holds a doctorate in clinical psychology. After studying, Inge set up a psychological service for kindergartens. Additionally she has trained in several psychotherapeutic methods. She has worked as a psychological counselor and consultant for youth departments for almost thirty years. Birgitta Heiskel was born in Frankfurt / Main. She studied at the University of Fine Arts in Braunschweig and has been working as a freelance illustrator mainly for book and magazine publishers in Vienna since 1990.
