St. John's College has been thoroughly re-established, and has commenced its academic year with flattering pros pacts of success. The details of the educational system which has been adopted by the Board of Governors offers all that could be compassed in such an_ Institution, to the youth of our own as well as other States. Under the present able and accomplished presiding officer of the Faculty, it may be expected, at no distant day, to take its stand among the most favored Institutions of the country.

The Agricultural College is also, with the aid extended to. It by the Legislature, and the large amount realized from the sale of Agricultural Scrip donated by Congress, in con dition to enter upon a new and useful career.
