All of the stories in this collection are six words in length. Six-Word Memoirs are a form of Flash Fiction which is a style of fictional literature or fiction of extreme brevity, made popular by SMITH magazine (smithmag.net). The most concise and widely cited example of flash fiction is the story Ernest Hemingway penned, allegedly to settle a bar bet: "For Sale: Baby Shoes. Never Worn." I hope you enjoy these short memoirs, most are from the imagination but others reflect daily life in all its pathos and glory.
