The final three chapters cover coupled lines, RF and microwave components and their applications and finally RF filter design is covered with a complete combline microstrip filter design used to introduce advanced filter concepts and also illustrating some of the less quantifiable design decisions that must be made such as choosing manufacturable dimensions.The book is also characterized by extensive emphasis on design with many examples and discussion of manufacturability and practical design decisions.The book is arranged as three relatively modules - with Chapters 1-3 being module 1, Chapters 4-7 being module 2, and Chapter 8-10 being module 3 - so that any of the modules, or perhaps 2, can be taught independently.
