It's been more than eight decades since the bar and dance hall originally known as The Cedars opened in 1942 on the west side of Priest Lake, Idaho - and almost as long since Ward and Millie Adams took ownership of the bar. All these years later it is still called Millie's.

But this isn't just a history of a bar, or a restaurant, or a dance hall. The cedar logs that make up its walls and ceiling, the photos on the walls, and even the name itself carry with them the history of place.
