This Notice was written at the request of the American Philosophical Society, and presented at the meeting of May As it was a meeting of business, and there were other things to occupy the attention of the Society during the evening, the part actually read on the occasion was the latter half, alluding more particularly to the professional history of Dr. Physick, and there fore having a more direct scientific bearing.
