In 2003, inspired by USAF Colonel Rick Husband of the space shuttle Columbia, A.J. Genco set out to write a devotional for his own family, laboring over it for ten years. Yet when he had barely finished, he was taken from this earth by a sudden illness. Though this devotional was never intended for publication, A.J.'s widow desired for it to be published to honor his legacy.
