"As a grandfather of fifteen, I have read countless books about colors to toddlers and young children. Too often, I found them uninspired-cartoon drawings simply can't capture the richness of the world around us. I wanted something more, something that truly reflected the beauty of color in nature.

I combed through the archives of NASA images and found stunning images of the universe, filled with color. These vivid colors provided the perfect medium for teaching young children the names of colors in a way that is both educational and visually stunning."
