Proverbs 19:21 states: "Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand. The wait in between the altar can be a tormenting one. Days & nights of the unknown have the ability to make us question God's sovereignty. Your dress, veil, and shoes are already picked out. But what's really on the other side of the door? Rejection, deception, disappointment, idolatry, and impatience has the ability to leave anyone in a daze gasping for air in the wait. I thought I had it all figured out, but I blinked my eyes and a terroristic crisis had come upon me like a thief in the midnight hour. In broad daylight, I was taken off of the shelf like a trophy and left bleeding at the hands of the dead. What if I told you that we battle not against flesh & blood, but against spiritual principalities & wickedness in high places...Would you recognize that this applies to the corpse laying right next to you in your bed who's pretending to be alive? The fog is thick and dense and there seems to be a never ending amount of graves that your "Husbands" have placed you in when they rise. The tension could be cut with a knife. I know you've been through bloody hell, and your Raw Wounds keep accumulating lashes, but this is the announcement that Heaven shouts over you: You're Still a Bride.
