The Franklin Boys' Story: Cherry Trees is the second installment in the trilogy surrounding two brothers, Julio and Jeremy. In this story Jeremy remains in Franklin while Julio moves on. This coming of age novel addresses issues that all teenagers face at some time or another -- relationships, racial tensions, untimely deaths, and ultimately what it is like to be transitioning into adulthood.
