Peaceful tidings to any and all; especially to potential supporters of this particular endeavor. This labor of Love is nearly a lifetime in the making; all matters considered. Between my beloved Pops instilling a passion for photography in me; my stepfather for encouraging me to join the U.S. Army; and even my dearest, "Mom Dukes", for believing in me when I didn't believe in my own unique self. These photos were taken during my 12 month Tour of Duty to the Diyala Province of Iraq; beginning in July of '09. Some of these pictures were taken from the rear gunner "hatch" of the 2nd Infantry Division's 1st Stryker Brigade Combat Team (SBCT); or 1-2, formerly known as 3-2.

Their armored personnel carriers (APCs) serve as the backdrop; and/or mode of transportation/protection to and from the locations of the photography at hand. The battalion I was assigned to at the time was 5/20 INF (5th Bn, 20th Infantry Regiment). The companies were Attack/Alpha; as well as HHC, aka Hound/Headquarters & Headquarters Co. At least 15% of all sales will go to nonprofits that are, "truly duly" and, "actually factually" fighting tooth and nail for the direly ailing USA Vet community. For example, Warfighter Advance Inc.; Flanders Fields Ltd.; Team Red, White & Blue (RWB); will each receive NLT (No Less Than) 5% per purchase, each.

Each has radically varied missions; somewhat similar to the five branches of the U.S. military. All nearly just as essential as the previous one. That is simply the facts of the matter; or a Sitrep (Situation Report), as it were.
