Whirlwind Through Time is a sequel to Passage Through Time. It has been two and a half years since John Fitzalan left Issie to go back to his time in 1360 to marry the woman that history dictates. Every day has been a struggle for Issie who is slowly recovering from a broken heart. Issie is part of a rescue mission to travel back in time to the year 1379 in an attempt to save John Fitzalan from drowning in the Irish Sea and bring him back to modern day time. Her father, Edward who was really from the 14th century, invites a young, tall, dark, handsome English man who is a direct descendant to John Fitzalan and Eleanor Maltravers to join the rescue mission. Issie automatically resents this English man no matter how good looking this man is. In the year 1379, Issie finds that John has changed from a loving person to a cold, calculating miscreant. John is determined not to let Issie go no matter the cost. Issie is on a whirlwind of time travel and ends up again back in October, 1360 and she is held hostage in Pembroke Castle until John fulfills his agreement to marry Eleanor. Her old nemesis, Margaret and the Earl, Richard Fitzalan has conspired together to hold her captive until the marriage takes place or the Earl will harm Issie.
